‘Summer ‘19’

So, finally, with the kids back at school and the Ashes not remaining on these shores, time for a quick recap of Summer 2019. The joys of sending orders from a sun-kissed beach, battling with wi-fi in remote cottages and 6½ weeks of permanently-on-holiday-but-basically-still-at-work are over. For now.

Lots of lovely new accounts We are absolutely delighted to have sold our natural wines in bag in box and pouch to the following fabulous peeps for the first time this Summer:

Places to eat (and drink)

Black Axe Mangal https://www.instagram.com/blackaxemangal/ – BAM !!

Places to drink (and eat)

Stocking the full range of VinNaturo pouches has gone down a treat at wine shops / bars / bottle shops, such as:
Lovetts Newlyn – earn your indulgence with a quick dip at the Jubilee Lido, Penzance (of just go in off the rocks if you’re too early….) https://www.lovetts-newlyn.co.uk/
Cork and Cask, Edinburgh http://corkandcask.co.uk/home/
Dodo Micropub, (Hanwell you are v.v.lucky) https://www.thedodomicropub.com/

Places to Refill

We love a refill. Reuse (your bottle) again and again, much better for the environment than recycling.
Reno Wine in Wymondham (pronounce that if you can!) proper Norfolk and refill heaven http://www.renowine.co.uk/refills
Not new, but lots of love from the very delicious and deeply ethical Better Food in Bristol https://betterfood.co.uk/food-and-drink/ plus the world’s best Spar shop who still cannot get enough #BilltheButcher and Bruton hats off to you!

Places to spend the day or two (whilst drinking and eating)

Our wines have featured in events the length and breadth of the country this Summer. Starting with the very fun Porthilly Spirit party way back in late May with an absolutely enormous long table http://www.hiddenhut.co.uk/ feast in a field, http://www.roguetheatre.co.uk/ afternoon and Tomos Parry’s sensational supper. A couple of https://www.winecarboot.com/, including an absolute scorcher of a day in the very accommodating redevelopment at Coals (not Double) Drop Yard, Kings Cross.
Last and most definitely not least, so delighted to have been invited to pour a range of VinNaturo wines at Wild Wine Fair https://www.instagram.com/wild_wine_fair/ Edinburgh. The trip up worth it not least because of an absolute belter of a meal at https://www.timberyard.co/ the night before.

Plus bag in box and pouch wine at a campsite ALWAYS makes sense, https://field725.co.uk/, Frome and Woodfire camping http://www.woodfire.co.uk/ on the South Downs rocking all summer long.

Web based fun

Our new(ish) range of Tomisa organic, low sulphite wines in small bag in box (BIB) are featured with https://www.farmdrop.com/london
Our website is A LOT less clunky and we even splashed out on a new domain morewine.co.uk. Though I can reassure that you can still easily cross, with a complete freedom of movement from morewine.eu

Friends ‘n’ favourites

Numerous lunches at simply the best local restaurant https://bistrolottefrome.co.uk/
A day out (in an apron!) at Lords courtesy of https://palmerstbottle.co.uk/ The Big Cheese
Plus very excited about the OCH opening of a ‘pop-up’ in The Vault, Penzance this week…..!http://www.oldcoastguardhotel.co.uk/

Summer ’19. A bigly bigly great one. Great one.

Rich
