A blend of 60% Sangiovese + 40% Ciliegiolo. Antonio works almost exclusively with old vines, with as little intervention as possible. The vineyards have hot dry summers, though with good temperature range at nights. Hand-harvested; 10 day maceration with indigenous yeasts used. The wines are lightly filtered but not fined. Precise bright fresh cherry fruits, good tannic structure and acidity.
