10% Fernao Pires from Lisbon, 90% Siria from Beira Interior.
The Fernao Pires is hand harvested, then fermented in Talhas, 300 litre Portuguese amphoras and in contact with skins + lees for 60 days. The Siria is fermented in stainless steel with skin contact for 60 days.
No fining and no filtration.
Pale Amber. Beautifully pure, textured orange with fresh nuttiness + fine spice. Tangerine, marmalade + pure citrus fruits with a salty tang.
The wine captures the best characteristics of the varietals in their best terroir. Fernao Pries in Clay / Chalk / Limestone in Lisbon and the Siria in Granite / Xisto grown in altitude from Beira.
