Our Beaujolais-Villages is from “Les Raisses”, a vineyard situated on decomposed granite and schist in Lancie, which adjoins the vines of Fleurie. Planted over 50 years ago, farmed organically and trained in the traditional gobelet fashion. We harvest by hand, ferment by indigenous yeast as whole bunches in concrete, before pressing and ageing for nine months in a concrete tank. At 12% alcohol, it’s the perfect daily drinker. . – Emma – Le Grappin
